Quick Start Guide - Fingerprint & Prox Card Time Clocks

INSTALLING THE TIME CLOCK:

Fingerprint & Prox Card Clocks install approximately 120cm from ground level

After determining the height, the time clock needs to be from the ground, make the relevant marks on the wall, screw the time clock metal bracket to wall using the wall plugs and silver screws provided. 

Plug power adapter and optional Ethernet data cable into the back of the time clock.

Hang the time clock on metal bracket and fasten to the bracket with the black screw provided.

BASIC TIME CLOCK SETTINGS:

Press the M/OK button to access the clock menu.

DATE/TIME:  Use the arrow keys to scroll to the ‘System’ icon and select ‘Date Time’ by pressing M/OK.  Confirm Date and Time settings are correct for your Time zone and adjust accordingly.

NETWORK:  If connecting your time clock to your local network, scroll to the ‘COMM’ icon, press ‘M/OK’.  For Ethernet cable connection, select ‘Ethernet’.  To join a Wi-Fi network, select ‘Wireless Network’.  To enter your WiFi password, the right arrow key cycles between letters/numbers /symbols, the left arrow key will back space and ESC will escape out of special characters to enable Save. Configure settings to join the local network.  (Ignore this step if using a USB flash drive to transfer data to PC)

ADDING EMPLOYEES:  Scroll to the ‘User Mgt’ icon.  Select ‘New User’.  Assign an employee number in the ‘User ID’ field.  Scroll to select other options to add a Card/Badge or Fingerprint.  Follow on-screen prompts.

ADDING SUPERVISORS:  To lock the time clock menu, add a Supervisor to the time clock using the above steps.  Now scroll to the ‘User Mgt’ icon, select ‘All Users’ and select the Supervisors number.  Change the ‘User Role’ for the Supervisor to show ‘Super Admin’.  The menu of the time clock can now only be accessed by the Supervisors enrolled Card and/or Fingerprint.

INSTALLING THE TIME CLOCK:

Face Scan Clocks install approximately 110cm from ground level

After determining the height, the time clock needs to be from the ground, make the relevant marks on the wall, screw the time clock angled plastic bracket to wall using the wall plugs and silver screws provided.

Plug power adapter and optional Ethernet data cable into the back of the time clock.

Hang the time clock on bracket and fasten to the bracket with the black screw provided.

AUSSIE TIME SHEETS SOFTWARE AND USER MANUALS:

The Aussie Time Sheets software and user manuals for your time clock are found on the USB disk included with your system.  Please insert this USB disk into the PC you would like to install the Aussie Time Sheets Software to.

INSTALLING & ACCESSING SOFTWARE:

Run the ‘AussieTimeSheets.Basic.SqlLocalxx.Setup.exe’ file to install the software to your desired location. Choose the ‘64’ version if your Windows OS is 64bit or ‘32’ if your Windows OS is 32bit.  Search ‘System Information’ in Windows if unsure.

A new icon will be showing on your desktop called ‘Aussie Time Sheets - Basic’.  Double-click to run.

Accept the EULA and enter a username and password that you’d like to use to access the software, enter your password twice.  You can change your login by clicking on the ‘Logins’ menu within the software.

ADDING CLOCK LICENCE TO SOFTWARE:

When you first open Aussie Time Sheets Software you will need to activate your clock licence before the software can be fully used.  You will need your time clocks SERIAL NUMBER, LICENCE NUMBER and ACTIVATION KEY which you would’ve received via email at the time of purchase.

Please click on TIME CLOCKS > ADD.  Enter a CLOCK NAME, the clock’s SERIAL NUMBER, the CLOCK TYPE, LICENCE NUMBER and ACTIVATION KEY.  Then enter network settings or select ‘USB Disk’.  If entering network settings, click TEST COMMS to test the time clock is connected to your network.  Finish by clicking SAVE.

You will now have full access to the software.

If you are adding more than one time clock to the same software, please repeat the above steps.
