Exceptions and Warnings allow you to define certain events that a User/Supervisor would need to have flagged.


There are two conditions:

Exception:

This shows required items as red on a time sheet and also shows on the Home Dashboard under the Exceptions item.


Block time sheet approval:

This prevents time sheets from being able to be approved, until the exception is first acknowledged and cleared.  This is useful to prevent mass approval of time sheets where key data is missing or needs to be verified.



Late Arrival: 

The start time logged by an employee will show red if they turn up after the expected Start time on their Daily Rule for the day.


Early Departure:

The finish time logged by an employee will show red if they leave work early, before their expected Finish time on their Daily Rule for the day.


Extended Break:

The break times will show red if the employee clocks off for a break longer than the Time Allowed for that break assigned on their Daily Rule for the day.


Overtime:

The total Overtime value will show red if any overtime is worked.


Negative RDO Hours Exception:

The RDO Accumulated Balance will show red if the value falls below zero.


Missed Clocking:

The single time entry will show red when there is a time missing from a pair of shift or break times.


Unexpected Absence:

The Daily Rule for the day will show red when an employee hasn't clocked in on a day that is marked as Expected on a Daily Rule.


Use of Default Rule:

The Default Daily Rule will show red if an employee clocks in on a day that has the Default Daily Rule assigned.  Useful for triggering exception if an employee is working on a day not Expected.
