The Add Clocking widget allows administrators and supervisors to easily add Clockings for an employee or a group of employees from the uAttend Dashboard without having to navigate to the employee's time card.


Administrators will be able to add a manual clocking for all Employees and Supervisors can add clockings for the employees in their responsible departments.  



To Add a Clocking, follow these steps:


1. From the Add Clocking Widget, enter the name of the employee for whom you would like to add a manual clocking in the Search Employees field.


2. Click Search.


3. From the search results, select the employee to which you would like to add a manual clocking. 


4. Click Add Clocking 



5. Select the Clocking TypeThe options are: In OutBenefitBreakLunchand Job.


Note: The Job Clock Type will only display if job tracking is enabled in the uAttend account and the selected employee has job tracking enabled. To enable job tracking for the account, see Enabling Job Tracking. To enable job tracking at the employee level, click the Users tab, select the employee, and make sure the Job Tracking setting is set to ON in the User General settings. 


6. Enter the clock details for the selected Clocking Type.

  • For In Out clocks, enter the Clock Time and Date. Enter a note if applicable. Employees clocked in will show an out clock for the Clock Time and Date entered. Employees clocked out will show an in clock for the Clock Time and Date entered. 
  • For Benefit clocks, enter the date, the benefit type, and the benefit hours. Enter a note if applicable.
  • For Break clocks, enter the Break Start time and Date and/or the Break End time and Date.
  • For Lunch clocks, enter the Lunch Start time and Date and/or the Lunch End time and Date.
  • For Job clocks, enter the Job Start time and Date and/or the Job End time and Date. Select the Job Number. If applicable, select the Job Detail Number. Enter a note if applicable.

7. Click Save to add the manual clock to the employee's time card and return back to the Add Clock Widget.
 

To Add a Group Clocking, follow these steps:


1. From the Add Clock Widget, select the Department to which you would like to add a manual clock from the Group Clocking field. 


2. Click Search.


3. Select the employee(s) in the department to which you would like to add a manual clocking.




4. Click Add Clocking.




5. Select the Clock Type. The options are: In Out, Benefit, Break, Lunch, and Job.


Note: The Job Clock Type will only display if job tracking is enabled in the uAttend account and the selected employee has job tracking enabled. To enable job tracking for the account, see Enabling Job TrackingTo enable job tracking at the employee level, click the Users tab, select the employee, and make sure the Job Tracking setting is set to ON in the User General settings. 


6. Enter the clocking details for the selected Clocking Type.

  • For In Out clocks, enter the In Time and Date and/or the Out Time and Date. Enter a note if applicable.
  • For Benefit clocks, enter the date, the benefit type, and the benefit hours. Enter a note if applicable.
  • For Break clocks, enter the Break Start time and Date and/or the Break End time and Date.
  • For Lunch clocks, enter the Lunch Start time and Date and/or the Lunch End time and Date.
  • For Job clocks, enter the Job Start time and Date and/or the Job End time and Date. Select the Job Number. If applicable, select the Job Detail Number. Enter a note if applicable.

7. Click Save to add the manual clock to the employee's time card and return back to the Add Clocking Widget.
